Research presentation – Jump with me!
With Rosalind Goldberg

The last couple of weeks I have started research on jumping. I have been structuring a practice through which I will investigate relations through the action of jumping. It is a preparation for the upcoming production ‘Jump with me!’ a work that will be made for 4 dancers.
Tonight I am alone and I will jump a collection of poems for you.

‘Map’ was created in collaboration with José Corral.

Togetherness is a performative practice that seeks to investigate how to be with others.
It is based in the potency of the movement as a language, using repetition as a provocation to discover what is new.

This iteration was made possible by Dance OMI 2015 – Omi International Arts Center and AIR Chez Bushwick.
Thank you Salvatore Cataldo and Christopher K. Morgan.

THIS SUNDAY: Sunday Process Lab

Mechanized Bodies: Mechanized Visions

Movement Research at Eden’s Expressway

September 20

$5

Sunday Process Labs are a series of three-hour, low-cost sessions on Sunday evenings, providing an opportunity for a dynamic exchange amongst peers in a lab-type setting. Sessions are facilitated by movement-based artists who will share their individual creative practices and

In this process lab we will look at various clips of influential film and video works that span from the dawn of the moving image to the present day. Our interests will be focused on the uses of cinematography and editing as unique types of physical explorations as well as documents of time. Along with watching clips, we will engage in some group exercises to further activate ourselves within the space and with one another (no dancing experience necessary – all abilities welcome!).
