Video Clips from Movement Research at the Judson Church, 10.26.09

Video Clips from Movement Research at the Judson Church, October 26, 2009. Featuring works by XX TOKYO, Jennifer Nugent, and Belinda McGuire.

XX TOKYO is strongly conscious about the coetaneousness, including themes of gender gaps and social differences. Group members individually learned performance art, fashion design, oil painting, scenography, modern art, art history, and feminism theory in Art University. By sharing the members’ unique capacity and various experiences, we dig the field of performance art in the multi-angle view. Our expression is elusive sometimes, because of our posture to evade the typical composition makings. We believe that our original installation and costumes or any visual effects shared the sense of generation, enable ourselves leach to the neutral image.
