Ben Boatright (b. 1982) is an artist working in performance and sculpture. He studied at the Art Institute of Chicago where he received his BFA in 2004, and has lived in Brooklyn since 2006. His solo works have been performed at Artists Space, St. Mark’s Church, Port d’Or, and Dixon Place. He performed for choreographer Walter Dundervill at Dance Theater Workshop this past February in his piece Candy Mountain and for artist Francois Boué at Participant Gallery in April for the closing of his solo exhibition Infinite Instant.

Pedro Jiménez likes farms flowers freedom and honesty. His expression has been increasingly driven by some earlier expressions such as neighborhood sports, running, painting, playground games, water balloon fights, fishing, Aggressive Inline Skating, the every day and You. He has worked with Beautiful people such as Arthur Aviles Typical Theatre, Claire Barratt, Noemie Lafrance, Mei-Yin Ng, Richard Rivera, Tino Sehgal and with Dean Moss Gametophyte Inc. He currently is developing a dance/video project called Elysian Fields with Arthur Aviles Typical Theatre, and will be joining Dean Moss and some lovely others for the premier of Nameless forest at the Kitchen May 2011. Pedro is greatful to god for Life, for Learning and for All who live with their hearts, with Love -You are an incredible inspiration to me. Most recently, Sari Nordman’s work has been seen at BAAD!, BAX, Columbia University and DraftWork at Danspace Project. Working as a dancer with choreographers Douglas Dunn, Dean Moss, Susan Rethorst and Melinda Ring has influenced her own dance-making. She is a recent recipient of American Scandinavian Society’s cultural grant. She holds an M.F.A. degree in modern dance from NYU/Tisch School of the Arts.

Vanessa Justice is a choreographer and performer living in Brooklyn. Since 2003 she has been developing a relational approach to choreography where divergent sources/styles of information meet and create a context for interplay. She has received artistic residencies from Joyce SoHo, San Diego State University, the Bogliasco Foundation, SEAD, Movement Research, and Yaddo. She founded VANESSA JUSTICE DANCE in 2007 with work premiering in NYC and abroad. Her recent pieces investigate improvisation-based performance and Kristin Page Stuart is a vocalist, composer, and writer. She has received support from Yaddo, Jerome Foundation, Atlantic Center for the Arts, New York Foundation for the Arts, HERE Arts Center, Voice and Vision Theater, and the Brooklyn Arts Exchange. Her Band, K.Page and Sleepwalker’s Parade, recently performed at Brooklyn Academy of Music’s BAM Café.

Yozmit is a singer, performance artist and costume designer who incorporates sound/movement/visual/spiritual aspects of the human body to research and reveal the unknown mysteries of her universe. He has performed with Rachel Rosenthal Company, Thomas Leabhart’s corporeal mime group ‘MICE’, Laurie Cameron and Company, Seo HoonJung (Pansori, lineage of ‘Yi ll-joo), Takuya Muramatsu from Dairakudaka, Hou Ying and Nicholas Leichter Dance. He is also a scholarship recipient of the American Dance Festival. Recently, he performed in Marina Abramovic’s ‘The Artist is Present’ at the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA). Yozmit performs at The Box and her work is also shown in Lincoln Center, Joyce Soho, Dixon Place, Art Basel, Galapagos Art Space, Joe’s Pub, and Vandam by Susanne Bartsch.
