On an atomic level Emma Fitzgerald, Aine Stapleton and Carl Harrison are composed of a vast, precise, uncountable number of clocks. These clocks are capable of communicating with each other… Absolutely everything Emma Fitzgerald, Aine Stapleton and Carl Harrison do is constrained by the speed of light. They will be paying extremely tight attention to their bodies and yours in order to fandangle some time travel from the vast complex web of human flesh we inhabit. They will also perform out-takes from their upcoming show ‘The Smell of Want’ which runs from October 3rd – 8th at Abrons Arts Center.

Emma Fitzgerald is co-artistic director and founder of the dance theater company Fitzgerald & Stapleton. She works collaboratively with dance and theater artist Áine Stapleton. The relationship between language and experience is at the heart of Fitzgerald & Stapletons choreographic and performance techniques and for every production they create the duo write a text of performance directions known as a score. Their next production The Smell of Want runs October 3rd to 8th at Abrons Arts Centre New York as part of Culture Ireland‘s Imagine Ireland festival. Carl Harrison has worked extensively in Europe for choreographers such as Maresa Von Stockert,  Kate Mason, Colin Poole, Katie Green and Cathy Seago. He also founded and performs with Minna No Project – a dance company based in London and Paris
