    Network culture allows for a performative exchange of rich media unbounded by time or space. This fluid open group dialogue in concurrent time completely ruptures the old hierarchies. While the structures of power–the transnational media conglomerates, digital monopolies, and goverments–continue to maintain a degree of control over these technologies, new strategies and uses are also emerging every day that continue to redistribute “the land to the people.”
